Graduate International School for Textile Arts Master Needle Artisan
My further education in the textile field, especially the training in hand embroidery at ISTA have led me from the classic Canvaswork to the different techniques like goldwork, whitework, blackwork, stumpwork to the composition of my own creations. An incredibly exciting way with colors, shapes, design and stitches!
The variety of different techniques fascinates me again and again and until today I can not clearly define for myself whether I like more classical or unconventional works. I like to embroider fine and filigree or tone in tone in classical techniques, but on the other hand then also free combinations full of textile structures with unusual materials and color combinations.
So it comes that there are a variety of completely different works to discover in my portfolio.
my first own project - Mister Fish

and fish again ... this time in a double pack and filigree

My little friend - Mister fish in all its glory

Now it is first getting white....
Whitework is tradition pure – but does that mean it has to be boring? Certainly not!
Richelieu, raised embroidery, satin stitch embroidery you can't decide what is the most beautiful thing

It also works very fine!

The highlight - my final thesis after the painting "Jaqueline" by Pablo Picasso

My joy of Needlework no longer knows any boundaries A few works that were created during this time
These are projects that are partly created from their own designs, partly worked from kits.
