Masterful Embroidery Weekend

The Hand Embroidery Masterclass will give you the extensive knowledge of a globally popular craft and accompany you on the path to your own idea. It is a winding, wonderfully creative path that does not necessarily lead to material wealth, but is an enrichment for your own creative power. The joy of handwork, the knowledge that you are making a very important contribution to the mental health of the world - the joy that comes from this outweighs all the hardships!

The focus of our hand embroidery master class is on deepening the knowledge from one of the courses mentioned below, the combination of embroidery techniques, the use of "unusual" materials and the implementation of what has been learned. On the one hand, given motifs, on the other hand, given themes come into play.

Prerequisite for participation in this seminar is the successful completion of

  • Master Needleworker
  • Master Needle Artisan (Corr.)
  • Master Needle Artisan (local course)
  • other participants on request

Master class hand embroidery

We always start with 2 introductory days where we introduce you to materials and techniques that are not yet widely used in hand embroidery. The variety of ways in which traditional techniques can be dressed up in a modern garb contribute much to the everlasting popularity of hand embroidery. The course content itself deals with perfecting traditional techniques, which are the guarantee for success in the textile community. We encourage your own creativity and are happy to learn a great deal from each participant.

Use it as preparation for the development of your own courses, for the creation of a design portfolio, as preparation for a course of study or the practical part of the journeyman's examination for the profession of textile designer in the craft / embroidery department or

just do it for yourselves!
